March 2nd was Dr. Seuss's birthday so we decided to make March Seuss Month at the library.
Today we made some Truffula Trees to add to our display of books and stuffed animals. They were super simple and only took a few supplies; feather boas, Styrofoam balls, wooden dowels, striped washi tape, and paperclips. it was a bummer I couldn't find solid color boa, but I think they still look nice.
I love doing crafts and activities with the kids, and making Truffula Trees are perfect because next week we are watching my favorite Dr. Seuss movie The Lorax.
Why is it my favorite? Because it has a grumpy environmentalist with a sick mustache. Yea, the Lorax is basically a hipster
